My Fave Adaptive Rompers for G-Tube Babies
A few months ago, I was gifted two Ready Set Rompers to try out for my twins (both have G-tubes in case you’re new here!). Not only are they super soft (bamboo!), but they’re also perfect for tube feeding on the go.
They’re comfy, stretchy, one-piece rompers with a unique design: the centre folds up to reveal the tummy underneath (easy to hook up the G-tube extension). It also makes it easy to whip their legs out for quick diaper changes or outfit changes (#refluxbabyproblems).
I love putting these on the boys anytime but especially for long hospital days where I’m out at appointments all day long and doing feeds on the go. It’s easy to hook them up without unsnapping or messing up a onesie or shirt/pants, but it’s also easy to tuck the extension back under the “pouch” to keep it hidden and out of reach of the boys. Jaxon can’t see or grasp objects well, so he leaves his tube alone, but Axel is verrrryyy interested in the extension and tube and is always reaching for it and has pulled it out a few times! NOT what I want to happen on the go! Being in the stroller, it’s hard to keep eyes on him constantly so these rompers help keep his mischievous hands off it!
There are long sleeve versions and short sleeve versions for summer, though both are made of lightweight, breathable bamboo so they’re not too hot in any weather. I also love that this company is local, started by a fellow mom and made entirely in Canada. 🙂
As a reminder, I did receive these rompers as a gift, though everything I’ve written above is true and I really love them!
Sizes range from 3-6 months to 2-3T. Ships to Canada & the United States. Grab your own on their website, and use code “GTUBEBABY” for $5 off your order! (I do not receive commissions from any links or that code, just want to share the love for this awesome local company!)
